Arvig offers E-mail Filtering on your email address(es). This filters all incoming email and checks it for viruses, worms, and spam oriented email before it ever gets to your inbox.

The Arvig e-mail server is an extremely busy place. On a typical day, between three and four million e-mail messages are received and only 7% of those incoming emails are legitimate!
Protect your computer from potentially harmful email messages with Arvig Email Filtering for only $1 a month ($.50 for each additional email address). Your incoming messages will be filtered according to these categories:
- Blocked: Mail coming from known spam sources or addresses is stopped immediately.
- Rejected: Mail scanned and determined to be blatant spam is stopped and not quarantined.
- Quarantined: Mail scanned and suspected to be spam is stored in the quarantine area for you to review and determine if you want to release it to your mailbox.
- Delivered: Mail scanned and delivered to your mailbox.
